Richard Hogan
General Manager of Operations/IT Manager Support
Growing up in rural West Otago, Richard then studied and graduated from Otago University with degrees in Accounting and Economics before moving to the corporate world of Wellington. There he worked in an accounting role in the insurance sector for several years, then moved to London and continued his career with roles at Sedgwick’s and Trade Indemnity.
On his return to Wellington he took an accounting role with Volunteer Service Abroad, then moved into the legal industry, working as the Practice Manager of the law firm Izard Weston for many years.
In late 2018 Richard returned home, moving his family to Queenstown and in February 2019 he started this role as GM of Operations with Colliers, utilising his experience in accounting, management and IT.
Outside of the office, you’ll find Richard and family enjoying the outdoor lifestyle that only Queenstown can offer, from skiing and fishing to mountain biking and golfing.
