Simon Anderson

Sales Manager Rural

Born and raised in Central Otago and spending his early years on the family orchard in Alexandra or the Poolburn farm, Simon returned home in 2023 to assist Colliers Rural and Agribusiness in the further development of their growth across Otago and Southland.

As an experienced senior executive with a record of people development and growth, Simon’s earlier career in rural banking provided him with sound investment decision-making skills and business acumen that has continued to serve him well during his many years in the property sector.

Joining the real estate industry in 2002 he is vastly experienced in network relationships, negotiating complex deals, and closing on opportunities. Simon is a self-motivated and results-driven professional with the ability to see the “big picture”.

With commercial growth and the long-term view clearly in mind, Simon uses extremely strong relationship and negotiation skills, to explore opportunities and acquisitions.

A naturally curious mind supports researching and guiding the development of policy and business practices cognisant of emerging legislation, issues, and trends.

Being passionate about supporting and motivating people, mentoring leaders, developing successful teams, and managing business relations Simon has found Colliers is an excellent match for his skill set.
